Job Description:
Accounts Receivable Specialist
CFS has partnered with an organization seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:

Receive, count, and prepare income for deposit; provide receipts when needed and verify income with staff.

During kettle season, assist with counting and depositing income with another Finance team member.

Deliver deposits to the bank; ensure two-person transport during high-cash periods

Create and send billings and monthly AR statements; maintain accurate AR files and documentation.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations for payroll accounts and support corrections as needed.

Review and verify corporate credit card transactions; assist with ACH entry and coding in Serenic.

Reconcile AR accounts monthly; maintain compliance schedules (e.g., Officers’ Household Help).

Support check voucher review and documentation verification.

Train team members in A/R and serve as backup for A/P functions.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.
- Strong skills for effective communication with clients.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
